Depart the hotel by express boat to the Grand Palace - it is the most important shrine in Thailand since it was established in 1782. The complex housed not only the Royal residence and throne halls, but also government offices and the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha. After that, a short walk to the local pier, get on the express boat cruise along Chao Phraya River, the heart of Bangkok and through the klongs (canals), which gives Bangkok the name "Venice of the East". Boat will stop at the local pier. Visit and tour at the Temple of the Dawn 'Wat Arun', a major riverside landmark which is one of Bangkok's earliest temples. It is beautifully decorated with porcelain from China. Back to the hotel.

Dress Code: For religious reason, women should have long pants and shoulders covered and gentlemen should wear long trousers and short-sleeved shirts. Shoes must be removed before entering the Emerald Buddha Temple & Wat Pho.

 

DURATION PROGRAM
13:00-13:15 Group meeting at the hotel lobby & proceed to the hotel pier. Embark on the Express Boat.
13:15-13:40 Boat cruise along the River of King to the local pier
13:40-13:50 Disembark at the local pier and walk to Grand Palace
13:50-14:50 Visit & tour at Grand Place & Emerald Buddha Temple
14:50-15:10 Walk to local pier & Embark the boat to Wat Arun
15:10-16:00 Visit & tour at Wat Arun
16:00-17:00 Embark the boat and continue to the Bangkok Canal tour. Boat will stop at the hotel pier. End of the program

1.30-hour drive to Thailand's ancient capital's historical wonders and temples Ayutthaya - a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Discover the ruined ancient city, visit three historical temples; Wat Phra Mahatad -a royal Temple of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and the famous sand-stone Ayutthaya-style head of the Buddha image in a tree's root. Wat Phrasrisanpet this was the largest temple in the city and visit Wat Chaiwattanaram featuring the architectural style influenced by Angkor temple in Cambodia.

After that a nice lunch by riverside before return back to Bangkok.
